I can get really happy from all these different projects for memory keeping. Today is the second ‘Day In The Life’ of this year by Ali Edwards. I like to participate in this project and have started making pictures and kept my journaling during the day. To make it easy on myself I’m having the same approach as Ali Edwards does. At the end of the day, or tomorrow morning, I am planning on printing the pictures and journaling cards. After that I can add in some embellishments and it would be really great if I could wrap it up within 24 hours. The best thing of it all is that this project is going to be super easy because of my new mobile Phone.

Technical details:

Pocket Pages: Pictures and cards are all 3 x 4 sized. The pocket pages are similar to the 6 x 8 pocket pages design 4 from Becky Higgins.

Pictures: all pictures will be made with my smartphone; Microsoft Lumia 950. I am really pleased with the quality of the pictures of this camera. Also my mobile Phone is always near when I need it. I make a quick selection right after shooting the pictures and delete those that I am not going to use. In the evening I will print the pictures at home with my Selphy 810.

Journaling cards: although I really like the style of the black and white kit of Ali Edwards , I didn’t bought it because the time is noted with AM/PM which we don’t have here in our part of Europe. I have made some journaling cards in photoshop, added them in a Word file and saved them in the cloud, so I can use the files on my mobile (see picture).  All I have to do is type the words ‘in the moment’ and print the journaling cards in the evening.

Paper and embellishments: paper pad ‘Everyday Edition’ from Becky HigginsThe embellishments are also self-made. I usually use my favorite font: Traveling Typewriter or American Typewriter. I’ll probably use some enamel dots and stickers, but I’ll get to that later today, when the pictures and journaling cards are printed.

In the next post I’ll show you the result of my ‘Day In The Life’, July 30th.
